Consider these when selling or buying a house with asbestos or meth

If you’re planning to buy a house, you shouldn’t make a significant financial commitment to a property that might present life-threatening problems later on. Make sure to do your due diligence before making a decision.

When you’re selling…

Before purchasing a property, you need to check for potential asbestos contamination. Be extra cautious when considering a house constructed or renovated prior to the year 2000. If you don’t investigate well regarding this before making the purchase, you might end up spending more for the removal later on.

When you’re selling…

Selling a house can be stressful enough without dealing with meth. If there is a chance your property has been used for recreational meth – or worse, used for manufacturing – get it checked first.
